Remember the Manners

No doubt you are probably already teaching your child the importance of being respectful and good manners, and their birthday party is certainly not the time to forget these skills. Make sure that you and your child say a personal thank you to all those that attended, which can easily be done by handing out the longstanding birthday favourite of a party bag at the end of the celebrations.

Also, stay polite by not opening gifts in front of guests. Most parents are aware that it can be considered rude to open presents in front of guests, and especially with children being unable to hide their excitement or disappointed, it is best to open gifts once everyone has left to avoid accidental insults.
